About Linkline
Linkline is an emergency response service designed to assist vulnerable people to leave independently with peace of mind. Frail elderly or anyone who feels threatened harassed or has disabilities may benefit from a Linkline alarm.
To have an alarm installed you will need:
•A modern telephone jack-plug point
•A 13 amp electrical (plug) socket within four or five feet of the phone line
•Two nominated keyholders that are willing to visit if needed. If you cannot nominate keyholders we may ask you to provide a key safe.
A base unit is connected to your phoneline and you are given a remote button which can be worn as a pendant or a wrist strap.
At the touch of the button, the alarm opens up speech contact with the emergency response centre, where you can speak to a Linkline Officer who can offer help when most needed, by contacting keyholders, carers, the emergency services or anyone that may be able to help.
All your information is held on computer, and is displayed on screen when an emergency call is received. Linkline staff are on duty 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
