Next week (14-18 November) is Anti-bullying week 2011. This years campaign will focus on verbal bullying and uses the slogan 'Stop and think, words can hurt'.
We know that unfortunately, derogatory language is used on our estates. Words and expressions are used by some residents that are homophobic, racist, sexist or disabilist with the aim of demeaning a particular group or individual.
