We need to ensure that only legal tenants and their registered occupants live in the properties that we manage.
This means we carry out regular tenancy checks, which ensure registered tenants are still in occupation. It also allows us to assess vulnerable tenants to make sure they get the support they need.
You will be asked to provide proof of your identification during the tenancy check.
If a tenant is not occupying their property as their only or principal home we may take legal action to recover the property.
If you are not living at your home and have not informed us, we may take legal action to repossess the property from you.

Check ID
Our Estate Managers carry out tenancy checks. They all carry photo ID. You should never let anyone in you home if you are not certain of their identity or if they have no proof of identity at all. If you are in any doubt, ask the person to wait outside while you contact their employer. If they are genuine they will wait.
