Tell us about any changes
When there is a change in your household, you should let us know as soon as possible.
A change in the household could be:
- A new baby
- Someone has moved in as an occupant
- An occupant has moved out/is longer living with you
- You are now looking after additional children or relatives and they are living permanently with you.
How to tell us
Contact the Customer Service Centre on 0800 085 65 75 and you will be sent a Change of Circumstances form.
Complete the form and return it with any other relevant documentation that we need such as:
When adding children to the household we need:
- A copy of a birth certificate
- Proof you are in receipt of child benefit
- Proof of custody/guardianship order (if applicable)
When adding a wife/husband or partner to the household we need:
- A copy of their birth certificate
- A copy of their passport
- A copy of your marriage certificate (if applicable)
When adding any other occupants we need:
- A copy of their birth certificate
- A copy of their passport
- Any other relevant documents
If we require further information from you we will write to you and let you know. If you do not provide the necessary documentation we will not be able to update your details and you may be in breach of your tenancy agreement. We may also decide that a Tenancy Check(link) needs to be made.
