Hounslow Homes is a three star Arms Length Management Organisation providing Housing Management and Maintenance services for over 16,000 properties owned by the London Borough of Hounslow. Our vision is to be the best ALMO in the country and the service provider of choice for the Council, its tenants and leaseholders.

The Company’s principal activity is the management and maintenance of the housing stock of the London Borough of Hounslow and the management of the investment programme for the modernisation of the housing stock. Its annual turnover is £50m and we have approximately 600 staff.

We are looking for a Board Member to help ensure that the organisation continues to develop, improve and turn our vision into reality. You will be committed to high standards of governance. Board level experience would be helpful, coupled with an understanding of the environment in which we operate. We are particularly looking for a person with a strong background and expertise in Financial Planning and Business Development within the private sector.

The voluntary position offers a great opportunity to discover more about how public sector organisations work, give something back to the community, and to work with the Board to make a real difference for the residents on the estates that we manage.
