How to pay your rent

Did you know there are 8 different ways to pay your rent, garage rent, rechargeable repairs or former tenant arrears?

1. By Direct Debit through your bank/building society

The easiest way to pay your rent is by Direct Debit directly from your bank or building society account. If any adjustments to your rent charge are required we will inform you at least 10 days before the payment is taken from your account.

Payment of rent by direct debit must be monthly in advance. A one off payment of £35.00 will be credited to your rent account if you continue to pay by this method for at least 12 months. You cannot have arrears on your account if you are paying by direct debit.(If you are in arrears you can, however, pay by standing order) For a direct debit mandate, please contact Rent Accounts on 020 8583 3806 or contact the Customer Service Centre on 0800 085 65 75.

2. By using the Online Payment Facility

You will need your rent account number and a debit or credit card in order to make your payment. The system is easy to use and there is a step by step guide to help you.

There is a £5000 limit if you pay by credit card. Debit card payments are unlimited, but the system will not accept payment by Visa Electron card. Please note that the online payment system is not available between 7.55pm and 8.20pm Monday to Friday

3. By credit/debit card

You can pay online by following the step by step details available or by phoning the 24 hour automated telephone payments system on 020 8583 5959.

This can be weekly or fortnightly.
